Hunter Valley Electric Vehicle Festival
The Hunter Valley Electric Vehicle Festival is delivered each year by a range of supportive Hunter organisations and businesses, led by the Tom Farrell Institute for the Environment at the University of Newcastle.
The Hunter Valley Electric Vehicle Festival is all about thinking of sustainable transport in fun and innovative ways that support the development of electric vehicle industries. ‘EV Fest’ has now run for six consecutive years, and has become a highlight of the clean energy and future-transport calendar, both across the region and nationally.
The purpose of the EV Fest is to think about the future of our region in positive ways, rather than remain fixated on the dichotomy between fossil fuels and clean energy, says futurist and EV Fest co-founder Dr Gary Ellem.
The future for the Hunter is truly Electric!
